Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Depending on which parts of FutureSpaceLab you use, we may collect or store:

• Account information: email address, username, display name, authentication identifiers, and sign-in status through Firebase Authentication.
• Profile content: profile color, profile frame, profile picture, banner, badges, description, friends, and public profile information you choose to display.
• Chat and social content: messages, friend requests, direct messages, lobby messages, mentions, and timestamps.
• Shop and app settings: owned profile frames, profile picture borders, local app menu layout, installed app buttons, and claimable rewards.
• Health app information: health inputs you enter, workout plans, local food logs, exercise entries, and optional Withings sync data if you connect a Withings account.
• Device and technical information: basic logs such as request time, requested URL, browser/device information, IP-related network data, and error diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service.

2. Where data lives

• Firebase: account, profile, chat, friend, and some app data may be stored with Google Firebase services.
• This machine/server: FutureSpaceLab is self-hosted and may process requests, logs, OAuth callbacks, and server-side integrations on the hosting machine.
• Your browser: some settings and app data are stored locally in browser storage, including menu layout, locally stored food logs, exercise entries, and other local preferences.
• Withings: if you connect Withings, your Withings account authorization and synced health measurements are handled through Withings and FutureSpaceLab’s server-side connector.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• create and secure your account;
• show your profile, badges, frames, friends, and chat messages;
• save your app settings, shop items, rewards, and menu layout;
• operate the Health app and optional Withings connection;
• debug errors, prevent abuse, improve security, and keep the site online;
• comply with legal, safety, or platform requirements.

4. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that operate the app, including Firebase/Google, Cloudflare, Withings when you connect it, and other infrastructure providers needed to host, secure, or deliver FutureSpaceLab. Public profile details and chat messages may be visible to other signed-in users depending on the feature.

5. Withings connection

Connecting Withings is optional. If you connect it, FutureSpaceLab uses OAuth authorization to request access to your Withings data for the Health app. You can revoke access through your Withings account or by disconnecting the integration if that option is available in the app.

6. Cookies and local storage

FutureSpaceLab and its providers may use cookies, localStorage, IndexedDB, or similar browser storage for authentication, preferences, local app data, and security. Clearing browser storage may remove locally saved preferences or local-only app data.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to operate FutureSpaceLab, provide the features you use, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Local browser data remains on your device until you clear it or the app replaces it.

8. Your choices

• You can choose what profile information to add or edit.
• You can disconnect optional integrations such as Withings where supported.
• You can clear local browser storage to remove local-only data.
• You can contact us to request account or data help.

9. Children

FutureSpaceLab is not intended for children under 13. Do not use FutureSpaceLab if you are under 13.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect FutureSpaceLab, including authenticated access, server-side handling for sensitive integrations, and security controls. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FutureSpaceLab changes. The effective date above shows when this page was last updated.
